Dell XPS 15z Laptop Review & First Look
The XPS 15z took some of the finer qualities from the Adamo line and blended them with an XPS. Its looks are more consistent with the Dell XPS 15 (Sandy Bridge) ($1,785 direct, 4 stars), except much thinner. The entire enclosure is made of an aluminum and magnesium alloy; much like theMacBook Pro. There are some fundamental design differences, of course. For instance, the XPS 15z leaves a bit of lip in the back and isn't as streamlined as the MacBook Pro (the lid doesn't close completely flushed against the base). But what makes the two eerily similar is that their shade of aluminum is nearly identical.
